Clinical supervision
A safe, collaborative space to support the work you do
Clinical supervision is not just a professional requirement.
It is one of the most important things you can do to protect both yourself and the people you work with. When you are sitting with eating disorders, addictions, suicidality and complex presentations week after week, the weight of that work does not simply disappear when the session ends. It needs somewhere to go.
I offer specialist clinical supervision for therapists and counsellors at all levels, with particular expertise in eating disorders, addictions and working with clients who are at risk. Whether you are newly qualified and building your confidence, or experienced and carrying particularly complex cases, supervision with me is a genuine collaboration rather than a tick-box exercise.
My approach is warm, boundaried and honest. I will help you think clearly about risk, work through your emotional responses to difficult material, and find a way forward that serves your clients without costing you yourself. I know this work is hard. That is exactly why supervision matters.

Who is this for?
Newly qualified therapists
Building your practice and your confidence. Supervision with someone who has worked in specialist fields gives you a solid foundation from the very beginning.
Experienced practitioners carrying complex cases
When the work gets heavy, supervision is where you put it down and look at it properly. Particularly valuable when you are managing risk across a caseload.
Therapists working in eating disorder settings
This is my specialist area. I understand the complexity, the countertransference, the family dynamics and the medical interface in a way that not every supervisor can.
Therapists working with addiction
Addiction brings its own particular challenges around boundaries, relapse, and the long nature of the work. I offer supervision that takes those realities seriously.
Working with suicidality requires supervision that is clear-headed, proportionate and non-catastrophising. I will help you think through risk carefully, document appropriately, and hold your clients safely without losing yourself in the anxiety of it. If you are carrying cases that feel too heavy, that is exactly what supervision is for.
