Eating Disorder Counselling

Specialist support for every form of eating distress

YOU ARE NOT ALONE...

I am a specialist in eating disorders with a Master Practitioner Award in Eating Disorders and Obesity,

trained by the National Centre for Eating Disorders. I work with clients of all ages, from Reception-aged children through to adults, and with people at every stage of their relationship with food and their body.

Whether you have been struggling for a few months or for many years, I firmly believe that it is never too late to begin. I have worked with people who felt certain that nothing could change and who found, with the right support, that it could. I will walk alongside you as you find your own way forward.

Treatment usually begins with an introductory meeting followed by a thorough assessment session in which we explore your personal history with food, weight and eating patterns in depth. My focus is on understanding why your eating difficulties may have begun, what is maintaining them, and what we can do together to address that in a way that genuinely works for your life.

In some cases, clients find it helpful to invite a family member or loved one to a session, particularly when they are struggling to communicate what is happening for them. I welcome that kind of collaboration where it feels right.

Recovery is possible, whatever stage you are at

I have worked with people at every point in their relationship with food. It is never too late and you do not need to have it figured out before you get in touch.
